Mosaic Gala
Our success is largely due to the volunteer efforts of our Board of Directors, parents, and members of the community, all of whom donate their time and talents to making MAB one of the finest dance training and performing organizations in the region.
Our volunteers can be found creating costumes, conducting fundraisers, managing backstage business, maintaining our facilities, constructing scenery, and much, much more.
You don't have to be a parent or board member to find satisfaction and enjoyment in volunteering for MAB. If you feel that the art of ballet is important and believe that supporting the work of this organization is vital to the development of young people and the community, please let us know by calling MAB at 302-266-6362.
The MAB Founder's Fund is an annual fundraising effort established in honor of our founder and first artistic director Sara Taylor Neal. Thanks to Sara's vision, leadership, and talent, MAB made extraordinary strides in its first ten years, nurturing scores of aspiring dancers, many of whom have gone on to achieve their dreams of becoming professional dancers.
Following Sara's departure from MAB in 2008, MAB's Board of Directors created the Founder's Fund to help insure that her legacy will continue to flourish. Specifically, the Founder's Fund seeks to support the distinguished guest artists and faculty who add so much to the education of our students and the enjoyment of our audiences through master classes, residencies, and performances throughout the year.
We invite you to join us in showing your support for MAB at one of the following levels. Please print a PDF version of the form below and mail it to MAB with your contribution.
Bronze: up to $49
Silver: $50–99
Gold: $100–249

In 2006, three Newark-area organizations – Mid-Atlantic Ballet, the Newark Symphony Orchestra, and the Newark Arts Alliance – joined forces to form Mosaic. By banding together, we found we could do more to promote and support the arts in Newark, than any of our organizations could achieve alone. The following year, Delaware Dance Company and the Chapel Street Players joined our collaboration.
Each November, the Mosaic steering committee, made up of members from each organization, presents a grand gala featuring food from local restaurants, live and silent auctions of artwork and merchants baskets, and performances from the participating organizations.
We would love to see you at the gala! For details about this year's gala or to purchase tickets, please visit the Mosaic web site.
