BALLET CAMP I - June 16-20, 2008 or June 23-27,2008
A one week half day camp for young dancers ages 4 and 5 with little or no experience and MAB dncers in Level A. Each day a differnet ballet will be explored including: The Nutcracker, The Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Swan Lake, and Alice in Wonderland. Daily activities include: one ballet class and one related dance classs with resident faculty, snack time, play time, and a craft project.
Monday-Friday, 9am-noon - Tuition $125

BALLET CAMP II- July 7-11, 2008

A one week full day camp for young dancers ages 6,7 and 8 with little or no experience and MAB dancers in levels B & C. Each day a different ballet will be explored including: The Nutcracker, The Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Swan Lake, and Alice in Wonderland. Daily activities include: two ballet classes and one related dance class with resident faculty, lunch time, rest time, snack time, play time, and a craft project.
Monday-Friday, 9am-4pm - Tuition $205

SUMMER INTENSIVE.  

GENERAL INFORMATION:
LUNCH
Students age ten and younger should bring their own lunch. Students eleven and older may bring their lunch or walk to purchase lunch on Main Street.  A permission slip/waiver must be on file at MAB.  A microwave and refrigerator are available for student use.  Vending is also available for purchase of snacks.

CLASSES
Students will be evaluated every day during the program to ensure proper class level placement.

STUDIO POLICIES
Students ten years of age and younger will not be allowed to leave the premises, except to have a supervised lunch outside the studio (weather permitting).  Students ages eleven and older may choose to walk to lunch on Main St. with parental consent. A permission slip/waiver will need to be on file at MAB.

Students authorized to leave the premises must first notify the desk, and will be required to sign out of the building.  All students are expected to follow studio rules of conduct at all times!

TUITION
Tuition is non-refundable, except in the case of medical disability verified by a physician.  

DRESS CODE
Campers may wear leotards and tights of their choice, but must have leather or canvas soft ballet shoes.  Shorts, pants, tops, etc., can be worn over tights and leotards.

campers are required to wear black leotards of their choice, pink convertible tights and soft pink ballet shoes in leather or canvas.  Outdoor clothing should be worn over the ballet clothes.

WHAT STUDENTS SHOULD BRING TO CAMP
Lunch, water bottle, deodorant, dance apparel, change for vending, notebook, pen, sunscreen, sunglasses, neat appearance and a positive attitude.
Younger students should also bring a pillow and blankey.

EMERGENCY INFORMATION

Parents needing to contact their child at MAB should call: (302) 266-6362.  If a student should become ill,
or sustain an injury, every effort will be made to contact the parents via the phone numbers provided on the student's registration form. Please be sure this information is filled out on the registration form.

DIRECTIONS
MAB is located in a spacious 5500 sq. foot facility in the 100 block of East Main Street, Newark. To access the entrance to MAB, turn right into the Newark Parking Lot #3, immediately past the traffic light at East Main and Academy Streets.  MAB is the mural-covered building on the right side of the parking lot. There is a 10-minute grace period for drop off and pick up. Parking validations are available at 25¢ per half hour.
