Sara Taylor Neal, Founder
Lindsay DeLooze, Resident Faculty, recently
received her BFA in Modern Dance Performance from the
University of the Arts in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
She graduated as Valedictorian and was awarded the Outstanding
Performance in Modern Dance Award. She performed Martha
Graham''s Steps in the Street from Chronicle
(restaged by Joyce Herring) as the Soloist, and performed
MOMIX's Sputnik. Lindsay is a 2002 alumna of
MAB, where she performed numerous roles in The Fantastic
Toyshop, Alice in Wonderland, Run On, and Amalgamotion,
to name a few. She has presented her own choreographic
works at the UArts Drake Theater and has served on faculty
at several studios in Pennsyvania and Delaware. Lindsay
teaches intermediate and advanced ballet, jazz, and modern
at MAB, and she has also taught modern masterclasses through
the Delaware Dance Festival.
Leanne
Higgins, Resident Faculty, has taught group exercise
classes for 16 years and Pilates Mat Work for four years.
She attained certification from the American College of
Sports Medicine as both an Exercise Leader adn a Health
Fitness Director. Leanne has her certificate in Pilates
Mat Work from SCW Fitness in addition to being CPR/First
Aid/AED certified. She is safety certified by the American
Association of Cheerleading Coaches and Advisors and the
United States Gymnastics Federation. She has published
articles on "Disordered Eating in Collegiate Cheerleading
and Dance," and maintains the health and wellness
bulletin board at MAB. She received her bachelor's degree
from Pennsylvania State University and both a master's
in exercise physiology and a doctorate in educational
leadership from the University of Delaware.
